Shikha Jain represented India as a Cultural Heritage expert and steered all matters related to World Heritage as Member Secretary, Advisory Committee on World Heritage to the Ministry of Culture during India’s term in the World Heritage Committee from 2011-2015. As Director, DRONAH, she has led more than 40 conservation projects across India in the last decade. She has worked as consultant to UNESCO on specific missions. She is the Asia Pacific Regional representative of the International Scientific Committee ICOFORT, ICOMOS and Visiting Fellow at the UNESCO Category 2 Centre, Wildlife Insitute of India, Dehradun.
Archaeologist, historian and writer, Rima Hooja is Consultant Director (Archives) at the City Palace Museum, Jaipur, a former Member of India’s National Monuments Authority, and former Director of Minnesota University’s MSID India Program. With a MA in History, Post-graduate Certificate in Archaeology (Cambridge, UK), and a PhD in Archaeology, also from Cambridge University, Rima has held several academic posts, including Associate Professor, Indian Tradition & Culture, Kota Open University, and Visiting Fellow, Institute of Development Studies, Jaipur.
