Dr. Arvind Kumar Singh (b. 1959) is Professor and Head of the Department of Ancient Indian History, Culture and Archaeology, Jiwaji University, Gwalior. With the academic and administrative responsibilities of the university, he is involved in teaching and research, and has published over 150 research papers in reputed national and international journals. He also has twenty-one books and four edited volumes to his credit. He has also been the chief editor of a bi-annual journal entitled Puranveshana: Indian Journal of Archaeology and Tradition of which six issues have been published so far. His passion for palaeography and epigraphy has resulted in the discovery and study of thousands of epigraphs from northern Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, and other areas. Due to his efforts, in addition to the development of Nagari script, inscriptions of Lichchhavis, Gahadvalas, as well as of the districts of Gwalior, Datia, Shivpuri, Bhind, Morena and Sheopur are available in book form.
Dr. Rajendra Yadav (b. 1969) is in-charge Superintendent Archaeologist, Archaeological Survey of India, Mumbai Circle. After completing education from Lucknow University, he has served in Delhi, Jaipur, Trissur, Shimla, and Lucknow as Assistant Archaeologist, Archaeological Survey of India. He documented the archaeological material from Kālañjara while working at Lucknow. Besides preservation, planning and execution of a number of museums, he is actively involved in research. He has three books and over thirty research papers to his credit.
Dr. Subhash Chandra Yadav (b. 1974) is Regional Archaeological Officer of Varanasi Region in U.P. State Archaeology Department, Lucknow. He has not only surveyed different areas of Saharanpur, Muzaffarnagar, Meerut, Varanasi, Jaunpur, Mirzapur and Sonbhadra of Uttar Pradesh besides some areas of Haryana and Rajasthan but has also prepared their reports. Besides exploration
